Question #47595 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/47595
Blokeley requested for more information: I gave up on USB and used a CD instead. Note that: 1. Check the MD5 checksum of your ISO image to make sure it downloaded from the ubuntu-eee site OK. Mine didn't first time round. 2. For some completely unknown reason I had to try the CD install 3 times before it worked: * Attempt 1: Complete hang with the ubuntu-eee background but the installer dialog had not appeared. * Attempt 2: Loads of squashfs errors.Xandros was rendered un-bootable at this point. * Attempt 3: Success! I have no idea what was different the third time round. In conclusion: use the CD, and hope for the best! -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu Eee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
