There is a similar bug in the eee900. I had the problem, where sounds would work through normal speakers, but when I plugged in my head phones I got no sound, when I unplug the headphones I still get no sound through the main speakers.
Problem is in the gnome-volume-control under the switches tab, if the headphones switched is checked every thing works fine, not both headphones are muted and main speakers even after you unplug the headphones. If someone wanted to point me int he right direction I'd love to dive in and help with the project, it sounds like an easy fix and would be a good start point. -- Using headphone does not mute main speakers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/264978 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is subscribed to Ubuntu Eee. However, this is not the case.
