Dennis McGuire is still having a problem:
Nothing solved. I'm going to stick with the "out of the box" Xandros
install withjust the Advanced Desktop mod.
How anyone can claim that Ubuntu eee "works" is just incomprehensible.
Whilst I'm predisposed to the Linux philosophy, until distros are able
to run effectively without the need for all these command-line fixes,
the average user is well-advised to steer clear. Otherwise, make sure
you have your "base reinstall" strategy well established and plenty of
time to waste.
