Question #53516 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/53516
Status: Open => Answered Davíð Jakobsson proposed the following answer: If the root disk gets full the programs which need to write to files on the disk would not be able to and this will show up as all kinds of problems. One, that you could maybe not start synaptic to remove packages from the disk. So it is better to try to avoid this. If you feel like to change the size of the disk you can easily install gParted (or any other simular programs) to a usb memory. Boot up the memory stick and change the partition sizes. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu Eee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders Post to : ubuntu-eee-coders@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
