Question #53677 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/53677
Status: Answered => Open northleaf is still having a problem: Thanks for the help. I did as you suggested and sure enough enabling the WLAN card in the BIOS took care of the problem. Wireless now works great. There may be a bug with the deactivation from the keyboard though. If I use the Fn-F2 key combination to turn WiFi off and then try to turn it on again the system tries to restart the WLAN card but returns with a failure message. This is likely not a big deal as I can simply leave the WiFi on, but for the times I would like to extend battery life it would be nice to deactivate the card and reactivate without having to reboot and go through the BIOS. Any ideas? Thanks again for the very useful suggestions. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu Eee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders Post to : ubuntu-eee-coders@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
