Question #55883 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/55883
Status: Open => Answered Rouben proposed the following answer: You can certainly accomplish this by reinstalling, however, there are a couple of things you should be aware of: the eeePC laptops actually ship with two separate solid state disks that add up to 20GB, so you may not have the option of completely collapsing them. Secondly, to resize partitions you should boot off the live CD in order to get the option to resize the partitions (resizing a partition you're actively using is a bad idea in general, so partition manager disables resizing for the hard drive you're booting from). In the top right corner of the partition manager screen you should see a drop-down menu that lists your hard disk (solid state disks) devices. How many are listed and what are their names? If you double check that, you will be able to confirm whether or not they are separate disks or separate partitions on the same disk. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu Eee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders Post to : ubuntu-eee-coders@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
