to be honest, you really should leave the handling of the touchpad to
HAL instead of xorg.conf. A later release of the easy-peasy eee-tweaks-
package will include an .fdi that loads shmconfig for all devices
running the elantech driver. (remember, the elantech-driver is only
available in the array.org - kernel as of yet.)

Bug description:
One of the only reasons I switched from the old to the new Ubuntu EEE was to 
see if the touchpad drivers had been properly updated. They haven't. Though the 
touchpad works, it's almost impossible to turn the touchpad off while typing 
(which is extremely important to anyone like me who has big hands and uses the 
EEE for serious writing).
