Confirmed. I thought it might be important to note that this is a bug
that not only Asus eeePC systems and that it continues to exist in
Intrepid. However, it is probably best to just use the original report.

Bug description:
Intrepid still does not support the Atheros AR5007EG wireless card. The madwifi 
drivers don't seem to work with this particular chipset. However, there is a 
fix here: http://madwifi.org/ticket/1192

Would it be possible to patch current madwifi drivers to include this support?
