The convention for package version is to use the release so instead of 0.10.2-4ubuntu0.2 use 0.10.2-4ubuntu0.14.10.1. With the version numbers that you've used if the Trusty version of the package needs an update that the Utopic version doesn't we'll need to become creative with the version numbers.
