Hi, I hope this channel is appropriate for this. I installed the latest version of emacs-snapshot yesterday from the repo. I run Ubuntu 14.04.
This has resulted in me not being able to launch emacs-snapshot anymore. running the command $ emacs-snapshot -Q results in the error Warning: Could not find simple.el or simple.elc Cannot open load file: No such file or directory, warnings I have purged the repo and was hoping I could install a previous version, however apt-cashe showpkg emacs-snapshot only shows one version of the package 2:201511150046~ubuntu14.04.1 Any help would be appreciated regards A
