If your problem is a bug in Ubuntu's packaging of Emacs, the place to report it is here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emacs24 This is for the Ubuntu-packaged v24 Emacs; if that's not what you have, try emacs23 or whatever it is that you are having a problem with. If you are on emacs-snapshot, the procedure will be somewhat different. This mailing list is not an appropriate target for bug reports, although of course, we will be happy to help you find the right place for your report.
