Hi All, The Idea is to spread Linux via Mainstream Gaming, that being the crowd puller. As of now for this we have tested some of the popular games like, Counter Strike, Warcraft, WOW, Team Fortress 2 etc and also STEAM. Thankfully all these games play Sweetly in Ubuntu. We are looking into Getting Valve Cafe Program.
Compiz is a big WOW for sure, But with that on, some of the games dont play that well. We intend to start tourneys in a big way for both the popular & Open Source games. If We can have Tourneys worldwide, with a cash prize, some of the FOSS games will get a major fillip. One game that is quite in this genre is Urban Terror We are also working on a buisness plan to make this model into a scalable one. Along with this we are looking into the possibility of converting the cyber cafes around here to Linux. Thanks and Regards Aravind
