I'm having he same problem with Hebrew-English. Noticed that the default shortcut is super key+space... Its a nice combination, but I'm afraid most of the end users will leave this distro' just because of that - they won't be able to get used to the change. BTW, trying to change the combination in the shortcut's settings didn't change the problem...
