System Requirements

It is recommended to have at least 1 GB of RAM or more (we shall soon do re-assessment for further specific details). If you have an old machine, you may consider other alternatives like Lubuntu.
I run most of my dev VM's with 1GB RAM and gnome-shell itself runs fine, provided you have accellerated 3D. There may be issues however when also running more memory hungry applications like Firefox, Libreoffice etc.
