The wallpaper looks amazing, and I think that the wallpaper hiding under the shell is an issue that applies to other backgrounds as well. Cantarell, our default font, is a good typeface, but it's not completely localisated (i.e., it's not available for all alphabets) and it has legibility problems on small sizes (personally I think <13pt). I truly belive *we should ship Driod Sans*. It's available on the official repositories (*fonts-droid*) and it also offers a mono-spaced version (which should be used in the terminal as well). Using Droid Sans will allow us to ship a consistent desktop experience independently of the installation language. - *New default wallpaper*. Some people don't like very much the GNOME Foot wallpaper. It's dark and it also somehow hides at first sight GNOME Shell. With a more colourful wallpaper, the top bar will look more prominent. This is what I have in mind http://www.deviantart.com/art/GNOME-Mesh-414786193. I have talked with Reda and he's fine about us using it. Now, both changes are quite easy to implement. The counterpart is that GNOME Shell would require to patch the font in the *.css* file. *What do you think about this proposal?* -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
