I prefer the Ubuntu font as well (but I don't know about language support of this type).
Talking about wallpapers... I think I'd miss a changing background (like the Adwaita one), but Reda's work is so beautiful. On the other hand: are you thinking about to do something with the Ubuntu GNOME logo? I really love the Plymouth theme (perfect!), but I'd like an "official" logo more... compact (ubuntuGNOME is sooo long). I have been working about that (see draft attached). 6draft_ubuntuGNOME.jpg<https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1aTnEEWwm6rNkNxUGZmM19lN1E/edit?usp=drive_web> 2013/11/30 Fran Dieguez <[email protected]> > I prefer the Ubuntu font as Droid Sans is too tall and not optimized for > desktops. > On Nov 29, 2013 9:30 PM, "Alfredo Hernández" <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> Hi all, >> >> I have a few changes in mind for the desktop appearance for the upcoming >> version of Ubuntu GNOME. >> >> - Ditch *Cantarell*.
