yeah, apparently you need your windows installation CD to restore that or something, acording to my Google results.

Hello

I'm running Ubuntu gnome on vmware currently, but i decided to duel boot
it  on my laptop which is running windows 7.

I have duel booted Linux and windows before, but last time that i did
it, i couldn't bring back window's boot back, and grub keep coming up
even after i have removed my Linux installation.
Is it possible to not install grub and use window's booter to boot into
windows and linux?
