Hi all,
I'm working on building the release notes right now at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TrustyTahr/ReleaseNotes/UbuntuGNOME, and I'm stuck on two things.
  • How much of GNOME 13.10 will we be implementing?
You can see the current version of packages in trusty at [1], still working to get gnome-settings-daemon and gnome-control-center updated to 3.10 however pretty much everything else will stay as it is.
  • Where can people add the missing packages?
3.10 packages will be at:
ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3

3.12 packages are currently at:
ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
(These may move to gnome3-next at some stage after Trusty release, or we may just leave them in -staging)
Thanks to anyone who can answer this.  Also, if anyone on the development or packaging team has suggestions for features to highlight in the release notes, let me know! :)
