Okay I understand. I was thinking about openSuse which possesses its own theme
but install the default ones too.
Thank you for your answer!

Hi.

We want to have more themes included by default. But we also aim to provide a
pure GNOME experience. Adding a GNOME Shell theme as default will defeat the
purpose.

Also, we don't want to include GNOME Shell themes as they break every release.
We don't have enough manpower to maintain them.

Thanks.

Hi everyone!

I've got a suggestion. I was looking for a shell theme to improve my desktop
and I found this one:
https://github.com/vivaeltopo/gnome-shell-theme-viva
which immediately made me think about Ubuntu. So here is my question: why not
create a default theme that would represent Ubuntu Gnome? The colors black and
orange are definitely what could define your flavour.
If you like the idea I would be happy to get involved and try to do some tests.
