Ubuntu, like debian, generates separate binary package for syncevolution. On top of that they add "libaccounts-glib-dev (>= 1.8), libsignon-glib-dev (>= 1.7)" in debian/control to generate binary package "syncevolution-provider-uoa" (http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ken-vandine/ubuntu/vivid/syncevolution/1.5/view/head:/debian/control)
But They doesn't do anything for Gnome-Online-Accounts, as a result it is almost impossible to make it work in Ubuntu-Gnome. The missing "providergoa.so" can be provided either in with a separate binary package i.e "syncevolution-provider-goa" (just like it does with UOA) or in "syncevolution-libs-gnome". Bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/syncevolution/+bug/1406200 Thanks.
