Hello all, I have been evaluating my own situation lately and I feel it is time to resign from Ubuntu Gnome. I haven't really found a way to be useful. I don't seem to be overly useful in the packaging team and I feel like I am a bigger drain on resources than I am a help. Therefore I am submitting my resignation today. I have mixed feelings about this because I know this is a small, dedicated team and every resource lost is felt. But at the same time I haven't been pulling my own weight.
On to some lighter news. I am still contributing in my own way. I am on the philanthropy committee at work. Part of what I do is take computers which have been life cycled out, wipe them, and put linux on them. I have been deploying Ubuntu Gnome on a bunch of these computers so the user base is going up (particularly since this will be a lot of people's introduction to linux) Anyways thanks for the chance to contribute. I wish the team luck! Cheers -- Red Hat 6 Certified Engineer Ubuntu Certified Professional Novell Certified Linux Administrator
