Subject: [Ubuntugnome-qa] Systemd Init arrives
To: Ubuntu GNOME <[email protected]

Hey all,
as of today, Ubuntu GNOME (and all other flavours) are using Systemd
init instead of upstart. I don't expect any major issues, however the
live images likely havent seen a huge amount of testing under systemd
init. So would be great to get a good round of testing in this week (live
images/installs/updates etc), so we have a chance to fix up any issues
before final beta testing hits (because by then its too late to fix
anything but critical installer bugs).

Tim

I've been testing systemd for a couple of weeks and the only bug that I found
is this:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1422143

BTW, not fixed yet. Don't know if it has something to do with GNOME
