I switched from windows xp. I installed ubuntu 7.04.
I found a driver for mfc440cn at
http://solutions.brother.com/linux/sol/printer/linux/cups_drivers.html
It installed files in the following dirs
/usrbin and
/usr/local/Brother/Printer/Printer/mfc440cn/inf and
/usr/local/Brother/Printer/Printer/mfc440cn/lpd
When I try to add a printer the system detects the right printer.
But it doesn't find the driver for it.
Any help will be appreciated.
