Ένα απλό ανούσιο σχόλιο: το gnome δε θα το μετέφραζα Γνώμης αλλά μάλλον "γνώμος" ή αλλιώς ξωτικό, μυθικά πλάσματα της βορειοευρωπαϊκής μυθολογίας. Αλλά είναι πολύ πιθανόν να είναι αρτικολεξο με πρώτη λέξη το GNU.
