Καλησπέρα,
Έλαβα σήμερα ένα mail από τον Nick Ali, μέλος του συμβουλίου τοπικών
ομάδων του Ubuntu. Το συμβούλιο τοπικών ομάδων (LoCo Council)
δημιουργήθηκε πρόσφατα από το συμβούλιο κοινότητας (Community Council)
με σκοπό να αναλάβει όλα τα θέματα έγκρισης νέων ομάδων, επανέγκρισης
παλαιότερων ομάδων, συμβουλευτικής προς τις ομάδες κ.α.
Στα πλαίσια αυτά όλες οι τοπικές ομάδες θα επαναξιολογούνται ετησίως,
παρουσίαζοντας το έργο της προηγούμενης χρονιάς και τις σκέψεις για
δράσεις τον επόμενο χρόνο.
Η ελληνική ομάδα διαλέχτηκε τυχαία να κάνει την παρουσίασή της τον
Ιούλιο. Αναλαμβάνω να ετοιμάσω μία παρουσίαση των δραστηριοτήτων μέχρι
τη δευτέρα, την οποία θα στείλω στη λίστα για διορθώσεις.
Προτείνω μέχρι το τέλος του μήνα να συγκεντρώσουμε ιδέες για τις δράσεις
τις επόμενης χρονιάς. Είναι μια καλή ευκαιρία να σκεφτούμε ιδέες για το
πως θα διαδώσουμε το ubuntu και ΕΛ/ΛΑΚ και πως θα συμμετάχουμε πιο
ενεργά. Είναι όμως και μια καλή ευκαιρία για να περάσουμε στην υλοποίηση
παλαιότερων και νεώτερων σκέψεων!

Hello Giorgos,
As you may have heard[1][2], the LoCo Council has been asked to review
approved LoCos on a yearly basis. The purpose of review is to see if
LoCos need any help and to make sure LoCos are continuing with the
good work that made them an approved team.
Among LoCos that have been approved over a year ago, the Greek Team
has been randomly selected to be reviewed in July.
The review process is straight-forward. Please prepare an approval
application similar to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoExampleApplication
with activities the LoCo has done in the last year and plans for the
next year. Then add the approval application to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoCouncilAgenda.
If the Greek Team does not feel it is ready to be re-approved, contact
any member of the LoCo Council[3] to discuss what help the LoCo needs.
