Το dia είναι όντως καλό αλλά περιοριζεται σε flowcharts μόνο, ενώ το inkscape μπορείς να κάνεις οτιδήποτε. Μεχρι και pdfs να επεξεργαστείς μπορείς, gradients χρωμάτων, πολλαπλά layers κ.α. Οι μορφές αρχείων που υποστηρίζει είναι υπέραρκετες. Η εγγενής μορφή svg που αποθηκεύει τα αρχεία μπορεί να αναγνωστεί από οποιοδήποτε φυλλομετρητή.
