Ορισμένες κάρτες, συνήθως παλιότερες, υποστηρίζουν DVB-T αλλά με MPEG2 (όπως εκπέμπει η ΕΡΤ digital τώρα, μάλλον θα αναβαθμιστεί και αυτή στο μέλλον) και όχι ως MPEG4 AVC/H.264 (που εκπέμπει η digea).
