Δε φαίνεται να είναι τόσο απλό, δεν έχω το πρόβλημα του να μην αναγνωρίζει το μικρόφωνο καν, απλά κάτι μηδενίζει την ένταση του εξωτερικού μικροφώνου μεταξύ logout/login. Για το automatic switching υπάρχει περίπτωση να έχω πέσει θύμα του εξής: "The automatic switching of the built-in and external mic per plugging is implemented on some codec models but not on every model. Partly because of my laziness but mostly lack of testers. Feel free to submit the improvement patch to the author." (Από το Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio.txt) Αν όντως δεν έχει υλοποιηθεί για το δικό μου chipset (Connexant Hermosa) και το πρόβλημα είναι εκεί μου μοιάζει σαν ένα καλό weekend project να διορθώσω το πρόβλημα "σωστά". Μέχρι τότε αποφάσισα να βολευτώ με το scriptάκι μου.
