Κατά την εγκατάσταση κάποιας διανομής Ubuntu μπορούμε να έχουμε το /home σε ξεχωριστό partition.
Αν σε ένα σύστημα θέλω να έχω δύο διανομές linux (π.χ. ubuntu και kubuntu) ή και 3 διανομές, μπορεί το /home partition να είναι το ίδιο, ώστε σε όποια διανομή αν κάνεις login να έχεις το ίδιο περιεχόμενο σε desktop, downloads κλπ?
