Hi Martin, I've tested this update and works as expected. I've made a setup and tested that IPVS is loaded and working. I'm attaching a syslog showing the behavior.

The reason behind this is because keepalived 1.1.17-1 in karmic does not have IPVS support, which is a regression from Jaunty. So this SRU is needed to re-enable IPVS support in karmic. See [1] 2. The related bug and [1], have been already fixed in both Debian and Ubuntu Lucid by applying the same patch. 3. To reproduce please follow [1]. I've personally tested the before and after the fix and can confirm that this fix works as expected.
