While creating a simple config I noticed I had a missing "}" at the end of a vrrp_instance block in my config file.
After correcting the configfile keepalived v1.2.24 works for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu High Availability Team, which is subscribed to keepalived in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1787205 Title: keepalived on Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS no longer working after upgrade to v1.2.24 Status in keepalived package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: I have a working keepalived setup with v1.2.19 on Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS.
