Title:
RM ocfs2-tools s390x binary packages from Focal
Status in ocfs2-tools package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Considering this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ocfs2-tools/+bug/1745155
And the following upstream discussion:
https://github.com/markfasheh/ocfs2-tools/issues/22
telling that ocfs2 isn't big-endian aware AND the following Debian
change:
https://salsa.debian.org/ha-team/ocfs2-tools/merge_requests/2
accepted and merged, removing s390x from the list of supported
architectures...
I would like s390x-tools s390x binary package to be removed from the
repo so the new version can migrate without issue reported in excuses
page:
"
ocfs2-tools (1.8.6-1ubuntu1 to 1.8.6-2ubuntu1)
Maintainer: Ubuntu Developers
0 days old
missing build on s390x: ocfs2-tools, ocfs2-tools-dev (from 1.8.6-2)
Not considered
"
So I believe the s390x binary package of ocfs2-tool should be removed,
in this case, from all "Focal" suites, correct ?
Thank you in advance.
