** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #623973 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=623973 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu ham developers, which is subscribed to soundmodem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/770011 Title: soundmodemconfig fails when loading /etc/ax25/soundmodem.conf Status in “soundmodem” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: soundmodem 'soundmodemconfig' is a tool provided in the 'soundmodem' package used to set up the soundmodem daemon. When you first use the program, the file /etc/ax25/soundmodem.conf doesn't exist, so the program outputs errors like: I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/etc/ax25/soundmodem.conf" I/O error : No such fiile or directory Soundmodemconfig does not create that file, so you have to do it by hand (mkdir /etc/ax25 ; touch /etc/ax25/soundmodem.conf ). Otherwise you won't be able to store the config. This may be an upstream bug...
