Hi Mike- When I first created the ubuntu-hams logo, and even http://www.ubuntu.com/ has not yet abandoned the good old familiar tri-color Circle of Friends. :-) I'm not inclined to abandon it yet either for ubuntu-hams, but I will make up another version of ubuntu-hams with the new solid-orange ring also.
