Hi Nate, It worked fine for me. How did you add the repository? I used:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-hams/ppa 73, Rob, KL7NA On 06/11/2010 08:17 PM, Nate Bargmann wrote:

Installable hamlib 1.2.11 packages for Ubuntu Maverick, Lucid, and Karmic are now available in the ubuntu-hams package archive: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams/+archive/ppaHi Kamal. For whatever reason, when adding the PPA I get an error that the gpg could not be found (happened on both Lucid installations) and the Software installer refused to install your Hamlib packages. Also Aptitude complains that the packages are unstrusted. 73, de Nate>>
