Oops, the PPA problem on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) is my fault (just a build system glitch, its not a problem with xastir). I will fix it immediately but the build machines may take awhile to actually make it available. The Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) version in the PPA works fine.
(In reference to:) A build of xastir 1.9.9 (2010-Jul-01 snapshot) is now available in my Ubuntu PPA: https://launchpad.net/~kamalmostafa/+archive/xastir 73 de KA6MAL -Kamal On Tue, 2010-07-13 at 15:38 +0100, David Maydew wrote: > Hi Koray, > I've tried everything, and the I still get the same error. > Here's what displays when I go to do either an upgrade or a fresh > install..... > > xastir: > Depends: libdb4.8 but it is not installable > Depends: libltdl7 (>=2.2.6b) but 2.2.6a-4 is to be installed > > I've looked everywhere on the Repo's for these, but they're not > there!! > Is anyone else having this problem with the PPA?? > > Dave M0DCM >
