Way back when I did and was pointed to the same Pulseaudio Wiki page as the Flidig documentation points to. However, that page is useless, at least to me, on how to point Fldigi at a specific sound card. Alex OZ9AEC wrote me off list about how to query the card names and gave an example for Gstreamer. Still, this is largely a Ubuntu-hams issue as I can't be the only one using a separate sound card for digi modes (think SignaLink USB).
