Heya all,
After having a really fun time Friday with Kamal playing with fldigi, a
really cool new toy he wrote called Minimodem and being introduced to
the mind-blowingly cool websdr.org, I'd mentioned a couple things I'd
been looking at for travel purposes. Here's one of them:
http://shop.lazydogengineering.com/IMPROVED-LD-1B-Software-Defined-Receiver-5354018.htm
They have a niftly little SDR receiver and have plans for a QRP
transceiver soon. I had e-mailed a couple times with someone from this
place and while they only have Windows support, they seemed interested
in getting Linux support as well. Maybe someone interested in coding a
front end for an SDR would be interested in this...
Anyway, just thought I'd share :-)
Now back to sucking up the Newark Airport's wifi while I play a bit with
WebSDR.
