There is a pretty good program for logging. Xlog. This is Unix, we do things differently. You don't use one program. You use a group of programs that communicate with each other in a cooperative way. Xlog does that. I would like to see an API come out for this. Say, a dbus standard for hams.
I do CW contests using eepkeyer, cwdaemon, Xlog, Xdx, eeclock, and hamsolar. I may have to do a tutorial on how I set up for a contest. Keep in mind that writing these big programs takes a LOT of time. Committing to that sort of time hog and doing it for free is not something that appeals to me. 73, Mike I am a professional Unix programmer. But Linux is dialect I can understand. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
