True. Sorry for this delayed response. Being a Chartered Accountant, I have 
been busy with my professional commitments. 
I should thank Mr BG for his valuable suggestion. To be frank, I have been 
using this Dataone Broadband for around 15 months without knowing this 
facility to alter this settings. Well, I have done it now and have told my 
friends too.
BTW, does the firewall settings in Dataone's router affect the performance?
Also, I find the data transfered stops after some time. We have to switch the 
router off and switch it on back to get the transfer back. I understand, our 
ISP Dataone does this to save their bandwidth, right? Any way, we can avoid 
this?
