As of now the preferred location is Chennai. Long term plan. Responsibles: Baishampayan, Aanjhan * Stall at Carte Blanche (3rd March 2007, Chennai) Put up a stall at the upcoming FLOSS Event "Carte Blanche" at Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Chromepet, Chennai on 3rd March 2007. 5 x 4 banners made available at NRCFOSS office. Onkar Shinde to give the write up for the leaflets to be printed and distributed during the event. A laptop and a Desktop to be arranged for any quick demo / Howto. Responsibles: Sudarshan S, Baishampayan (banner), Onkar (flyer) * Linux Demo Day Details of where / when needs to be discussed. Will be taken up after seeing the results of Carte Blanche? Responsibles: Aanjhan, Parthan * Install fests We plan to hold install fests in various schools / colleges. Details to be worked upon on the list. * Hug Day We will hold bug triaging events where all the members will be encouraged to triage bugs and file new bug reports. Dates to be discussed and announced in the mailing lists. Availability of ubugtu bug bot to be confirmed. Responsible: Onkar, Carthik, Baishampayan * Website content (Overall Responsibles: Baishampayan, Onkar) - Events tracking / Announcement page - Image Gallery (Details need to be worked out) - 2 minute Podcasts on Ubuntu-IN made by the members on various topics every week - Planet Ubuntu-IN (No decision reached. Still up for discussion.) - Marketing Material to be created and hosted on our site (Everybody) - Laptop Testing (To be spearheaded by Onkar Shinde) - Collaborative blog for the members of the Ubuntu-IN community (Baishampayan) - More useful content to be developed in the form of How-Tos (Onkar, Aanjhan) * The logs of the meeting will be published online Thanks to all.
