This is shashi. Even i got a copy of onre of the ubuntu CD. Its
dapper drake 6.06LTS. But am not sure that you guys are talking about
still the latest version of ubuntu or the same as mine copy. Can you
give me little more details??

Shashi,
Dapper Drake 6.06 was the previous stable release. The
latest stable (if-so) release is 6.10. (Edgy Eft)
These guys are talking about Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft and
if you can wait for two months (nearly), you can get
your hands on Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). But, if you
want Ubuntu immediately, 6.10 is a good deal.

get that CD? you can call me at 9900523621(bangalore). And also i want
to know that you guys are by any chance working on some of the
linux/ubuntu projects. Bcoz am interested in working in that direction
as well. Any details????

Bangalore! You'll have to search the archives of this
list for that. IIRC, there's one person in Bangalore
who had a copy of Ubuntu 6.10 and who has emailed to
this list claiming that.

There are a lot of them on sourceforge.
For example, you may be interested in helping /
contributing to
http://ayttm.sourceforge.net/
Join their mailing list as well, and get more details.
(I donno a lot of this list's guidelines ... but)
A word of caution: As far as possible, please refrain
from using short forms such as "Bcoz" and giving your
mobile phone number, unless absolutely necessary.
