Hi All, Thanks for your offer for help. My parents are in Lansdowne, Uttaranchal. I tried to help them again and it looks like the drivers of the modem are not installed. I am not sure how can I help them regarding that without internet.

There are 2 parts 1. seeting the location 2. setting up the dialup connection in both places avoiding the STD prefix will only help connect.
