Ok, can u boot into ur Edubuntu and  then go in that direcoty and delete it.
If there is more than one file distributed at many places as copy, then you
can search it in nautilus and then Delete it.
There you can also install Avast (much reliable than AVG), and I am sure it
will delete it. But since its installation wont get infected, you can just
boot into safe mode and do the task.
Also clamav on your ubuntu can help scanning the windows partition. Anyway,
you got reason to play, so PLAY :)
