Am not anyway aggressive, but want to know specifically how this is required when there is already a functioning and active loco team with many contributing members from it ? Ubuntu-India Loco Team is all about bringing together the Ubuntu-passionate people in India, uniting and motivation them to contribute, especially to India related things like localization and documentation. What does a promotion team/group do specifically that the loco team can not do/fails do to/more than its scope to do ? Personally, I feel we should rather put our heads together to make the Loco team more stronger, more contributing, more resourceful. If any of the Loco team members are passionate to become an Ubuntu Members (hope readers know what this term means, else Google), then the team is also interested in helping him/her to attain that. I am sure that the team is very supportive to newbies, to passionate wanna-be contributors and to innocent end users (and kids as well) that we try our best not to demotivate any one. I will wait for the reply to decide on unjoining from the team provided it doesn't have any special purpose which I personally feel to be supported. Am not flaming or criticizing, I just want the members of the Loco team to stay together and get things going. -- Parthan "Technofreak" [web] http://technofreak.in [irc] teKnofreak @ irc.freenode.net [mobile] MAA +919840209424 BLR +919845446647 -- ubuntu-in mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
