One question for you and the author of the the mentioned write up, Bruce Byfield. Why is it a CURSE. Popularity is well deserved. Earlier I was a Red Hat/ Fedora user and when I saw Ubuntu, I knew it was thing the people have been waiting for. Plus Canonical and the dedicated developers are doing a great job in **Making Things Just Work** So the position is well deserved and a good sign. Though there are opinions that Conary(wiki.rpath.com/wiki/Conary) based systems are easier to manage. But thats another topic and let's discuss that separately. -- -- ALLAH HAFIZ ------------------------------------------- Mir Nazim ------------------------------------------- mobile: +91-9906478306 ------------------------------------------- website: http://www.xensoftlabs.com blog: http://mirnazim.wordpress.com ------------------------------------------- Yahoo, Gmail/GTalk, Skype, AOL : mirnazim -- ubuntu-in mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
