not sure - how did you install, from a cd or an over then net upgrade. Might be worth trying a fresh install and then installing the graphics drivers (if you have some special graphics cards) ps: during installtion i forgot to make one of my disk partitions as the > home directory. please tell me how can i do it now. depends on what your existing partititioning is like. And depends on how your solve your, above mentioned, gutsy problems. But you could use any of the partioning tools to do it - gparted or qtparted. But you could lose data thats in your home so its best to first back up the data and then go ahead with the partitioning. Though is preferable to do it while (re) installing the OS. Is your system dual boot , whats your HD capacity and whats its usage like try "df -h" on the commad line to get an idea. ram ------------------------------ >
