Hi Ram,
Yup the BSNL DNS seems to be the culprit. I am on BSNL Dataone and
also cant able to reach those DNS servers. Try after changing the DNS
servers in your /etc/resolv.conf to
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220
(These are OpenDNS servers)
