Dear Onkar, I did try out after your mail and indeed its possible to print pdf from the desk top itself without resorting to conversion over the net. I apologise for any confusion I may have caused.
However I did face some problem, and I thought you may be the best person to resolve it. I often book tickets at ksrtc.in. When I attempt to print tickets therein, a dialogue box opens displaying the various options available. If I choose pdf, the dialogue box closes and I do not seen any pdf file being generated. Or maybe I do not know the location. I did not find any option to choose the location or name of the file. I also searched my home folder as well, but could not find it there. However if I choose the print to file option, I get the option to choose pdf vs ps, the name of the file and its location. This option was not available earlier.(The file printed was a ps file and I pretty sure about that). But anyway, my question is, what am I doing wrong in the pdf printer or what do I need to do install / modify to get it working?? Biswajit aka orthodoc.
