Since Hardy is an LTS release, the packages need to be
maintained/updated for bug/security fixes for 3 years. AFAIK, the
Ubuntu developers prefer doing FF3 beta to FF3 final upgrade in
hardy-updates over shipping FF2 version which might not be supported
even by Mozilla for next 3 years.
